Open Question: why do some people think i am stupid just because i have hearing aids?26 February 2010, 7:12 pmsome of the people in my school think that i can not do things as well as they can because i have hearing aids.when i can do things Just as well as they can.i play sports(swim)and i get good grades and my grades are better than there grades.like one guy if i do not do something perfect than he well start telling me that i am retarded.
when i was in the first grade i went to a party and i took a swimming test to go in the deep water and all the mothers went up to my mother and told her that sense i could not hear that i could not swim (i had to retake the swim test to show that i could swim)when there kid were drowning trying to take the swim test.
i would just like to know why some people think that deaf people are stupid and retarded
p.s. i do have some of my hearing
