Open Question: Blackberry 8350i hearing aid use.?

I have a Blackberry 8350i Curve.  I also wear Phonak Una BTE hearing aids.  When the T-coil was turned on for my hearing aids, I got a lot of staticy chirps from my cell phone.  Anyone have any idea how to eliminate this static noise?
