Open Question: Where can I get hearing aid and hearing test at reasonable price?12 February 2010, 4:10 pmMy cousin has hearing problem. He is 36 now and he had a gradually deteriorating hearing performance since he was teenager. A wrong medical treatment during his teenage time perforated his ear drum and it is still producing mucus liquid randomly. I advised him to use hearing aid but he is afraid that once he started to use the device he can no more hear at times when he is not using the device. Besides the usage of hearing aid when there is infection might not be advisable. One medical center told him that he needs to be seen higher medical professionals, but it is extremely unaffordable. He resides in Alexandria, Virginia and doesn't have medical insurance.
